The chance to get up close with Olympic athletes when they touch down in London ahead of the Olympic Games is being offered by Heathrow airport.

Volunteers are needed to meet and greet competitors as they land at Heathrow in the capital city.
Ambassadors will be the among the very first people athletes upon their arrival.
Some crowd control may also be necessary as fans seek a glimpse of the athletes.
Heathrow airport is running a series of events explaining more about the role.
BAA’s chief executive Colin Matthews said: “It is an honour for everyone at Heathrow to be among the first to welcome athletes and others to the London 2012 Games.
“We are inviting enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and provide the best possible reception to our country’s many visitors.”
Parkour acrobats performed stunts in front of commuters this morning as part of a campaign to promote alternative methods of travel during the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
