As an American in London, I’m always looking for a proper way to celebrate Thanksgiving when November comes around. A holiday dedicated to nothing more than eating, drinking, and being thankful for the ability to do so, it is one of the best traditions we have across the pond.
But expats and non-Americans alike can join in the Thanksgiving festivities here in London, too. Indeed, there is no reason to head to the US for your festive food fix on 22 November. This city has as much going on for Turkey Day as some cities in the States.
From restaurants and hotels offering full Thanksgiving dinner menus to butchers and grocers selling prepared turkeys, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and all the trimmings, anyone with an interest in the holiday can enjoy their own Thanksgiving feast in London.
From the turkey menu at CUT at 45 Park Lane to a full feast on offer at The Marylebone Hotel and ready-for-home-consumption Thanksgiving meals from Partridges, there is no shortage of options for eating, drinking, and being thankful.
