This terrifying footage shows a cyclist being robbed of his bike at gunpoint in South Africa - but the thief did not realise the rider was wearing a GoPro camera on his head.

The cyclist is riding on a dirt track in Somerset West when his attacker runs at him, holding a gun.

The victim does not hesitate in handing over his bike and the thief is joined by an accomplice.

The pair take several other items but fail to spot the camera.
