Archant

Classic Sesame Street characters Bert and Ernie stop arguing for a bit - and get down to some gangster rap, in this hilarious video.

The soft centred pair cant get enough of MOPs 2001 classic tune, Ante Up.

Bert and Bernie really seem to speak the lines spat out by rap duo MOP (Mash Out Posse).

The classic characters from childrens telly bop in time to the beat, while a rapper frantically describes carrying out a violent crime spree.

What makes this video such a YouTube classic is creators stianhafstad highly polished editing.

Busta Rhymes also guests on the track, whos cartoonish style ramps up the comic value.

The result is an unlikely but perfect partnership.

Enjoy.
