Archant

CCTV footage of what appears to be a nun stealing beer from a convenience store has been posted online.

The woman - who was wearing a habit and a long dress - was caught on camera helping herself to some alcoholic beverages from a refrigerator at the back of the shop, in the United States.

The thief is seen putting the drinks in her pocket before leaving the store without being challenged. It is unclear whether she is a genuine nun or a woman in disguise.

The footage has since been uploaded on video-sharing website YouTube, which has seen it attract more than 145,000 views in just four days.

One user wrote: “She paid for nun of those things.”
