It’s a nightmare for any football manager, but a hilarious moment for the watching neutral when an outfield player is forced to put on the gloves and go in goal for his side.

In this amazing video, Galatasaray midfielder Felipe Melo is forced to face a penalty with his side leading 1-0 against Turkish league rivals Elazigspor in injury time.

Galatasary had made all three of their substitutions when goalkeeper Fernando Muslera was sent of after 89 minutes but Melo stepped up to the challenge and spectacularly saved the penalty diving to his right.
