For print and digital journalists, horrendous bloopers are generally kept to the confines of the office.
Our colleagues in broadcasting do not have it so easy, however, with embarrassing mistakes caught on camera for all to see.
They have our sympathy but when news broadcasting goes wrong it can still be very funny.
