Possibly the greatest export that ever came over the Iron Curtain helps explain Russian history, in this classic slice of YouTube.

Now thanks to digital technology the history of the Soviet Union is told to that ear-worm tune.

Who knew lining up falling blocks into neat rows which then disappeared would be so much fun?
Certainly not the Soviet inventors of Tetris. They reportedly never saw a shiny gold rouble from its world-wide success.
