Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch at Beckenham’s Bridge Bar

Amy Winehouse’s dad Mitch will be at Beckenham’s Bridge Bar on Thursday night.

He will be performing with the Denmark Street Big Band, who have recently acquired a new singer-songwriter David James.

They will be on stage at the High Street venue at around 9pm.

Mitch’s friend Ken Rowlands told the Bromley Times: “It will be a great night. There are still some tickets left and it is all for a good cause.”

Money raised will go to the Amy Winehouse Foundation.

The star’s dad said: “The foundation has been set up in Amy’s memory to support charitable activities in both the UK and abroad that provide help, support or care for young people- especially those who are in need by reason of ill health, disability, ﬁnancial disadvantage or addiction.”
