London24 is launching a new Creatives’ Corner section to show the best work of Londoners.
Over the coming weeks we’ll be asking for poems, photos, songs, videos, drawings and more as we tap into the vast talent pool across the capital.
A different theme will be chosen each time and all contributions will be welcome – the one rule is they must all be on a London theme.
Using the work will embellish our pages and give you clever Londoners the chance to show off what you can do.
A couple of weeks ago we kicked things off by asking for pictures showing London at night.
We wanted readers to send photos which show the capital at its best when it is all lit up.
See the gallery below for a selection of the best pictures of London at night which have all been submitted via our photo-sharing platform iwitness24.
The next Creatives’ Corner theme is Olympics poetry.
If the 2012 Games coming to London has inspired you to write some verse we would love to see your work.
Any Olympics-inspired poems can be emailed to simon.bull@archant.co.uk. Our favourite contributions will be published here on London24’s website and also on our pages which appear in Archant’s newspapers across the capital.
