Cheryl Cole is rumoured be a special guest at BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Hackney Weekend festival on Saturday.

The Call My Name singer is reported to be joining Calvin Harris onstage during his set in the Dance Arena to perform a track from her new album.

The album, A Million Lights, was released on Monday (June 18) and part co-produced by DJ Calvin Harris.

Cheryl Cole’s manager will.i.am will also appear on Saturday on The Radio 1Xtra stage.

Rhianna, Jay-Z and Jack White are amongst stars performing on Hackney Marshes this weekend in front of 50,000-strong crowds.

BBC Radio 1 boss Ben Cooper promised festival goers “one hell of a good party”.

The event will be broadcast live on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 3.

A BBC spokesman said they can’t confirm rumours.
