The film will be shown at Apollo Piccadilly, Empire London Leicester Square and Odeon Greenwich on February 21.

British made and directed by Londoner Mark Sloper, the film tells the story of the thrilling superbike year, which saw the most dramatic finale in the championship’s history.

The film promises intense wheel-to-wheel racing and extraordinary thrills and spills.

Reigning champion Ryuichi Kiyonari returns from Japan to defend his title, but the three-time title victor is beset with ongoing problems and has to recapture his previous winning form.

Josh Brookes just missed out on the title in 2010 and is determined to battle his way to the top to become the first Australian BSB champion in 12 years.

Fans’ favourite and former champion Shane ‘Shakey’ Byrne wants to regain the crown and equal the record of three BSB championship wins.

Michael Laverty is the dark horse of the title chase and after being in contention in 2010 he is aiming to prove he has what it takes to defeat his rivals.

For the first time in the UK an American rider is setting out to destroy the opposition; ex MotoGP star John ‘Hopper’ Hopkins returns to racing after overcoming injury and personal demons, with a realistic chance of winning the title.

Add to the mix British hero Tommy Hill who so spectacularly lost the title the previous year by one small error and is determined to prove himself in his quest to become champion.
