Gardening expert Alan Titchmarsh will lend a hand at this year’s Ideal Home Show spring.
All hands will be on deck as Ideal Gardens Ambassador along with contributor Frances Tophill from ITV’s Love Your Garden bring the hit series to life with a brand new Love Your Garden Tea Room sponsored by Oceans.
This purpose-built free garden advice centre and beautifully decadent traditional English tea rooms will sit in the heart of the show’s garden section.
Frances and Alan will be offering a range of inspirational and expert advice, offering visitors top tips and designs on how to create some of the most unique and beautiful gardens in the country.
Alan will also be speaking at the show’s new Ideal Super Theatre offering spring planting advice and showing visitors how to turn the most unlikely outdoor spaces into beautiful, relaxing havens.
He said: “I’m really looking forward to leaping into spring at the Ideal Home Show - a chance to share my passion for plants and gardens and offer advice to anyone who wants to brighten their life with flowers, fruits and veg. What better way could there be to start the year?”
Alan will appear at this year’s show, which runs from March 15 to April 1 at London’s Earls Court, alongside fellow celebrity Ideal Home Show ambassadors, Laurence Llewelyn Bowen, Gregg Wallace, Suzi Perry, George Clarke and Melinda Messenger, who is also joining the team as the brand new face of Ideal Woman.
All these household names will also be found giving talks at the show’s brand new Ideal Super Theatre throughout the show’s 18 days.
The show will boast seven dedicated areas catering to every need and taste, from ideal Interiors, to ideal Home Improvements, with ideal Gardens, and ideal Technology, plus ideal Food & Housewares, ideal Shopping and ideal Woman.
Visitors will see new product launches, explore full scale show homes, enjoy interactive live demonstrations and can shop from 100s of items that won’t be found on the high street.
