Residents can take part in two organised bike rides in different parts of Havering next week.

To send a link to this page to a friend, you must be logged in.

The rides, aimed to coincide with National Bikeweek 2012, will be led by trained leaders.

On Wednesday (June 20), a ride will take place from Upminster Windmill to the Ingrebourne Valley, looking at the wildlife along the way.

The second ride will take place on Thursday (June 21) and will be a leisurely pedal around Gidea Park, stopping to speak to a local historian.

The rides will take approximately one hour and a free map of the routes will be available on the evening.

Riders are encouraged to bring their own helmet and high visibility clothing along with their bike.

Both rides are free to take part in, but subject to weather conditions on the day.

To book a place or for further details, contact Amandeep Kellay on 01708 432960 or amandeep.kellay@havering.gov.uk.
