Fuerzabruta

Archant

Fuerzabruta, the mind-blowing show from the creators that brought us De La Guarda, is theatre as you’ve never known it.

Describing the show isn’t straightforward…. it’s a Techno nightclub with water nymphs, a man running furiously on a speeding treadmill and bursting through boxes and women flying about above your head… which probably doesn’t give a lot away.

The show is pure sensation that dazzles you with its indefinable series of acts that are daring, artistic and beautiful.

At one point, a huge pool with a clear plastic base is brought down over the audience’s heads.

The ethereal female performers splash around in it, flirting with the people watching them from underneath, while soft trance beats billow out.

It is hypnotic and dream-like and it floods the senses, bringing the audience into its chaos, drama and infectious energy for the delirious and electric finale.

The 65-minute hedonistic show first came to the Roundhouse in Camden in 2006 and it is back for a second time.

Catch it before it floats off again.

Fuerzabruta is at the Roundhouse for a limited four-week run from December 27.
