From Hackney girl Leona Lewis’ spectacular opening on Saturday afternoon, to Rihanna’s high-energy closing performance, the BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra Hackney Weekend had something for every music fan.

Acts ranged from RnB and hip hop acts in the 1Xtra tent to club anthems in the Dance Arena to up-and-coming talent on the BBC Introducing stage.

Highlights of the two-day festival on Hackney Marshes included Jay-Z, special guest Dizzee Rascal, Jack White and DJ Calvin Harris.
