Stars of the silver screen came out last night for the BFI London Film Festival screening of Ben Affleck’s latest movie, Argo.

The actor, who directed and played the lead role in the thriller, was joined by John Goodman and Bryan Cranston at an exclusive afterparty at the Sanderson Hotel, Soho.

Affleck looked dapper in a black fitted suit and remained humble as he claimed that he was absolutely “honoured to have a film in the London Film Festival.”

He added that he had “dreamt about having a film premiere in London since he was child.”

Argo is an action-packed thriller based on the true story of a CIA infiltration agent in Iran, and has been hailed by critics on both sides of the Atlantic.

The guests at the after party danced to house music on an outside deck as the ate canapes and drank Ciroc vodka Martinis.
