He may play the international man of mystery, but it has emerged that Daniel Craig is rather more shy than James Bond himself.

Skyfall co-star Berenice Marlohe has revealed that Craig insisted on keeping his underwear on when they filmed steamy shower scenes together.

The French actress, who shares intimate scenes with the heartthrob, told the Sun she had to beg him to take them off.

“He was very shy and when he saw me entering the shower, he was like ‘Oh my God’,” she said.

“He tried to keep his underpants on for the shower scenes but I said ‘No come on, don’t be shy. I will do anything to make you comfortable’.”

The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended the red carpet launch of Skyfall at the Royal Albert Hall on Tuesday, which was hailed by 007 star Daniel Craig as his greatest Bond premiere yet.

Marlohe added: “The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall attended the red carpet launch of Skyfall at the Royal Albert Hall in London, which was hailed by 007 star Daniel Craig as his greatest Bond premiere yet.”
