The Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry have been voted the ideal roommate by people taking part in a poll.

The pregnant royal got the most votes in a survey arranged by boutique hostel company Generator, which asked people in the UK what celebrity they would like to share a room with.

The 30-year-old brunette, who married Prince William last year, shared the placing with her brother-in-law Prince Harry as they received the same amount of votes, while TV presenter Holly Willoughby came third.

Carl Michel, Executive Chairman of Generator, said: “After the Olympics and the Queen’s Jubilee it is interesting to see that Brits are now more patriotic than ever, having given the young royals the public seal of approval as potential roommates.”

Other celebrities to feature in the poll included Daniel Craig, Cheryl Cole and David Beckham.
