Where does Adele put all that silverware?

The plaudits keep rolling in for London girl Adele – who scooped an incredible 12 trophies at the Billboard Music Awards.

So take a deep breath as we reel off those gongs: The singer was named Top Artist, Top Female Artist, Top Pop Artist, Top Billboard 200 Artist, Top Hot 100 Artist, Top Digital Songs Artist, Top Radio Songs Artist, Top Digital Media Artist at the US event.

There was more too, as Adele took home Top Billboard 200 Album and Top Pop Album,

Her song Rolling In The Deep was named Top Streaming Song (Audio) and Top Alternative Song.

Looks like a mantelpiece reinforced with concrete will be necessary to stand such a weight of awards.

Adele’s journey to the top began when she was offered a recording contract with XL Recordings after a friend posted her demos on MySpace soon after she graduated from the performing arts Brits School in Croydon in 2006.
