Pop star and now movie maker Plan B got a frosty reception on the set of his debut film Ill Manors – the London artist revealed.

The film by the She Said star – real name Ben Drew, is set in Forest Gate, east London, where he grew up.

It focuses on six characters and features plenty of amid crime and violence. Drew was speaking in swanky Cannes, where he is promoting the film.

“When I started, the crew were mostly like, ‘What the f*** is this pop star doing making a film?” he said.

“I had told them beforehand that I’d never done a film before and made that clear and they all said, ‘Oh, we’ll look after you, we’re here to help’, and then the first day of the shoot I got that (attitude),” he told The Hollywood Reporter.
