Pippa Middleton is reportedly breathing a sigh of relief after her party planning book recorded a sales increase.

Sales of ‘Celebrate’ have increased by almost half in time for Christmas, weeks after they started to fall away.

It had recently come under fire after it was reduced from $42 to $20 on online shopping website Amazon, but sales have risen from 2,288 copies to 3,380 this week, according to The Bookseller.

A spokesman told the Evening Standard: “It’s normal to see sales of non-fiction hardback books going up around this time of year.

“Especially humour or books by celebrities.”

While the book tends to be housed in the Food and Drink sections of bookshops, critics believe it could be a great stocking filler due to its comical aspect.

Earlier this month it had fallen to 189th on the Amazon bestseller list and it was being outsold by ‘The Highway Code’ and a Tom Daley calendar.

The tome is described on the website as a “fully illustrated and beautifully designed book packed with recipes, crafts and inspirational ideas”.
