David Beckham has posted a new short film on Twitter, in which he promotes his new collection for a high street fashion retailer.

The former England football captain, who grew up in London and has just signed a new contract with French club Paris St Germain, posted the film, promoting the H&M range David Beckham Bodywear, on Twitter this morning.

The film, by London film director Guy Ritchie, features Beckham in his underwear, running after a car trying to get his dressing gown back.

Beckham has taken over H&M’s Twitter feed, @HM, for the day, and will be posting exclusive pictures, videos and updates, and will also take part in an hour’s live question and answer session at around midday.

Fans can send in questions via Twitter by using the hashtag #AskBeckham.
