In flight air-con woe of Simon Cowell bars X Factor live return

Simon Cowell cannot appear live on the X Factor because aircraft air-con plays havoc with his face.
Crossing the Atlantic from his base in Los Angeles hits the pop mogul’s looks by creating huge bags under the 52-year-old’s eyes, it was reported.
Meanwhile, his skin gets hideously dried out by the recycled air pumped around aircraft.
A source said: “Simon hates the way his face looks when he’s jet-lagged and that’s the real reason he will never be back.
“When he’s tired he gets bags and dark circles under his eyes and he hates that. The air-con on the plane also really dries out his skin. When he gets off a plane, he wears sunglasses to hide his eyes.”
The Daily Mirror reported today (Tuesday) that Cowell shall return to the X Factor this year – but definitely not as a “a hologram.”
Executive producers Richard Holloway revealed at the Edinburgh Festival that supremo Cowell is due back “in some guise, somewhere.”
