The socialite caused quite a stir as she and her entourage, rumoured to be 40-strong, arrived at the St Pancras Renaissance Hotel.

Kardashian, 31, was accompanied by her brother Rob as she appeared at the event to promote the QuickTrim weight loss programme, of which she is the face and body.

Wearing a skin-tight black dress with cutaway mesh panels and her hair straightened around her shoulders, she told the crowd of competition winners: “I’m looking forward to hanging out here for a little bit. It’s such a nice place.”

Asked if she was aware that gyms offer specialist exercise sessions to get a body like hers, she said: “It’s really crazy to me that there are work-outs like that, but with the help of QuickTrim, hopefully that will help.”

But after posing for pictures with eager fans, she left the venue leaving a long queue of others still waiting to see her.

Kardashian was believed to have left to attend a party with rapper Kanye West, who she is currently dating. He was performing at the O2 Arena last night on a bill with Jay-Z.

It was the second public appearance of the day for the reality TV star as she launched her new perfume earlier at an Oxford Street branch of Debenhams.

Kardashian wore a knee-length scarlet lace dress and sleek pony tail as she met and posed with fans at she promoted her scent True Reflection.
