Tulisa is reportedly on the verge of being sacked from The X Factor after turning up late for filming.

Producers are said to be upset with the judge for not putting all her efforts into the show.

A source told today’s The Sun newspaper: “She needs to buck up her ideas and give her performance on the show more attention.”

A spokesman for the star admitted she was late for filming with her contestant, Ella Henderson, two weeks ago.

They said: “She did get there but by the time she did Ella had to go so they couldn’t film. So she was an hour late but she didn’t just not turn up.”

Meanwhile Ella, 16, has told how getting a tweet from singer Adele helped her better accept her figure.

The hopeful - who lost 35lbs last year because she felt under pressure to look like a pop star - said: “I couldn’t believe a Grammy award-winner sent me a message on Twitter after my first performance. She is such an inspiration.

“Last year I was very body-conscious. I went completely the other way and I went underweight at a certain point.

“Now I’ve found the right balance and I’m happy. I’m a normal-sized girl. I’ll never be a size zero, that’s just not going to happen but I’m simply going to be myself and I hope people will accept me for who I am.”
