Christine Bleakley wants to marry Frank Lampard this year

TV presenter Christine Bleakley says she wants to marry footballer boyfriend Frank Lampard this year, but is waiting on the destination of his next club.

The Chelsea midfielder’s contract with the west Londoners finishes at the end of this season and Bleakley said they would wait to see what happens next before setting a date.

Speaking on ITV’s Loose Women today, she said: “We’d love to do it this year. Ideally, later on in the year.

“No date as yet as we are kind of waiting to see what happens, but yes, ideally, it will be.”

Bleakley, the former host of Daybreak, said of her fiance’s football career: “We don’t know what’s happening there, we’re not sure what’s going on.”

There have been suggestions of a move to take up a place with LA Galaxy in the USA and last year there was talk of heading to China.

Bleakley said: “I hear a different country every day. Places I’ve never even heard of, we’re moving to.”
