The gymnast and Strictly Come Dancing contestant reckons a fly-on-the-wall style show would be great fun after his time on the BBC One ballroom dancing competition comes to an end.

He said: “I would like to have a crew following me around, when I’m not in an environment where I have to be responsible, when I’m just me. I think the public would enjoy seeing what I get up to.

“I love Strictly, its right up my street, the combination of doing something different and entertaining people, it keeps me occupied.

“I really like Nicky Byrne and Michael Vaughan, Denise Van Outen is hilarious, Kimberley Walsh is so lovely and caring.”

He is surprised by the heightened interest in him since the London 2012 Olympics and wants to enjoy his success as a TV pin-up while it lasts.

Louis told OK! magazine: “I don’t really feel like a sex symbol. I try not to get carried away.

“I’ve come from very little, so you just appreciate what you’ve got. I don’t want to flaunt it, it could be gone at any moment.”

The star has got his own sexy 2013 calendar coming out, but thinks fellow Olympian Tom Daley - who has just landed his own TV show Splash! - will sell more copies of his calendar.

He added: “I reckon he’ll sell more. But in terms of who has the biggest package, I reckon I have.”
