Saucy burlesque dancer Beatrix Von Bourbon is expected to put more raunch into Britain’s Got Talent – but will her next routine be too rude for pre-watershed audiences?

The tattooed London performer is set to appear during a live heat on the ITV show over the next few days after winning through to the semi-finals.

The previous broadcast of her risqué audition is being investigated by regulator Ofcom after it drew dozens of complaints when she stripped to knickers, a corset, stockings and nipple tassels.

She was seen peeling off in an early evening slot and the show went on to be given a daytime repeat.

Von Bourbon, a dancer and fetish model who performs in lingerie and feathers with saucy routines in clubs, was put through to the next round of BGT after winning the approval of each of the judges.

Producers managed to censor the footage on the pre-recorded show by obscuring her chest with small gold stars, but it is not known whether she will have to tone down her act for the upcoming live show or whether producers may use some other method to obscure too much flesh.

Producers are understood to see her routines as a stylised mix of dance, mime, comedy and theatrics, rather than simply stripping.

A spokeswoman for ITV said: “Given the family audience that BGT attracts, we consider very carefully the suitability of all performances, before the acts go on stage for the live shows.”

Ofcom is looking into whether Von Bourbon’s appearance fell foul of the broadcasting code, which says children should be “protected by appropriate scheduling from material that is unsuitable for them”.
