Zara Phillips is putting her equestrian skills to a new use - by perfecting the Gangnam Style dance.

The royal Olympian will be seen performing the bizarre dance from the chart-topping hit by South Koren star Psy.

Phillips, daughter of the Princess Royal, will be joined by other figures from the three-day eventing team for the performance which will form part of this year’s Children In Need celebrations.

Psy’s dance sees him bounding around as though he was straddling a horse and holding the reins, as well as spinning an invisible lasso.

Around 20 figures from Team GB will be taking part in a specially-made video for the annual TV fundraising extravaganza which takes place on November 16.

They include Olympic stars Tom Daley, Rebecca Adlington, Nicola Adams and Louis Smith, who is currently perfecting his own dance moves as a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing. Paralympian heroes David Weir and Ellie Simmonds are also throwing shapes in the video, set to the Basement Jaxx track Do Your Thing.
