Mary Katrantzou, winner of the Emerging Talent - Ready-to-Wear award at the British Fashion Awards 2011, will open the day with her collection.

She describes the ideal Mary Katrantzou woman as having “a liberated spirit and a strong sense of style”.

Katrantzou, who says her three autumn/winter 2012 inspirations are “still life, crayon box and Victoriana”, is set to collaborate with Longchamp and Topshop this year, with both collections launching this month.

Handbag designer Anya Hindmarch will show at 10.30am. She said: “All will be revealed at our autumn/winter 2012 show during London Fashion Week but key sources of inspiration have been Quality Street sweets, toyshops and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.”

Also showing today is Roksanda Ilincic, a graduate of the Central St Martins MA Womenswear course. She said of her ideal customer: “Anyone who naturally gravitates to my work will look magnificent in it.”

Tomorrow features a focus on menswear at London Fashion Week, but designer Ozwald Boateng will show his collection today.

He said: “The house offers to Ozwald Boateng men an appreciation for traditional pieces with a contemporary twist, truly adapted to their practical needs: a unique luxury experience to men of all generations.”

Other presentations today include David Koma, Holly Fulton and Bally and Central St Martins Collaboration 2012.
