This recent arrival is one of the latest in a string of impressive new openings and is the largest restaurant ever to open in Canary Wharf.
As the UK flagship for the brand, Boisdale of Canary Wharf offers a stellar line up of live jazz, blues and soul performers.
Alongside its outstanding Scottishinspired menu, visitors can enjoy a drink on the terrace overlooking the iconic Cabot Square and City of London beyond. Choose from a fine selection of Cuban cigars or enjoy a dram of Scottish spirit at the 12-metre long bar whisky bar.
Hot on the heels of Boisdale was the unveiling of Wildwood, specialists in fresh, wholesome cooking, and this September sees another exciting opening – E14’s first independently owned café, Taylor Street Baristas, is set to provide ‘finely crafted coffee for serious coffee drinkers’.
With an exciting mix of Spanish tapas, Iberica Canary Wharf opens this autumn bringing premium Spanish cuisine to Cabot Square. As the year draws to a close, the internationally acclaimed mozzarella bar, Obika will open its first UK stand-alone restaurant in West Wintergarden on Bank Street – a world-class addition to the area.
Recently dubbed ‘London’s Las Vegas for Food’ by critics, Canary Wharf is rapidly establishing itself at the centre of London’s foodie scene.
As part of its world-class Arts & Events programme, the iconic location has served up an array of gourmet events throughout 2011. The Lunch Market, with over 30 stalls serving food from around the world, arrived in Canada Square Park for one-off dates in the summer.
Due to its popularity, the market will return on 27 September with a full compliment of international gourmet food, including Argentinean steak sandwiches, burritos and curries.
