The winners of the second annual Moneyfacts Consumer Awards held in association with MyMoney24 have been announced – and the winners can thank you for your support.
About 60,000 people voted in the awards, which are designed to honour those financial providers that offer both great products and top customer service.
The experts at Moneyfacts picked the shortlists of the best products in a wide range of categories, but it was then over to the consumers – including MyMoney24 readers – to whittle down the lists.
Tens of thousands of people took part in the study,
“The awards are unique within the personal-finance industry because they combine the expertise of Moneyfacts with the customer-service experience of our readers,” said Adam Aiken, editor of MyMoney24.
“The only way a provider can win is by offering a good product and great customer service – not just one or the other.”
Sylvia Waycot, publishing director at Moneyfacts Group, said: “We are delighted with the response.
“We received 60,000 completed surveys from the general public and these resulted in 500,000 answers being analysed, making this the largest annual survey of its kind.”
The awards were given out by television star Jake Humphrey at a glittering event held at the Honourable Artillery Company, in central London, on Thursday night.
