Hamleys reveals top 10 Christmas bestsellers

Well, it’s that time of the year already. Youngsters will soon start mentally planning their Christmas lists while their parents figure out just how they will pay for it all.

Regent Street department store Hamleys has now made its annual contribution to the festive season by revealing its predictions for this year’s top ten toys of 2012.

The list, compiled by its toy experts, features state-of-the-art gadgets and tablets alongside old favourites like Subbuteo and Lego.

1. Monster High Doll

The Innotab combines educational games and E-books

New student Rochelle Goyle joins the family. She has an internal clock that runs a bit slow, but she makes up for it with a steampunk style that suits her metallic glow. The dolls cannot stand alone.

4. Subbuteo

The iconic sports game is back with greatly improved detail on swerve, slide and balance. Also with a new and improved pitch which means teams will move quickly and accurately.
