A JOBSEEKING drug dealer who had 118 pairs of trainers has been jailed after police caught him with cocaine and heroin.
Shaun Felix, 34, of Brougham Road, London Fields, was caught with four wraps of the drugs, scales and £1046 in cash during a police raid on his home in September 2008.
Officers also found the horde of trainers, 30 baseball caps and two plasma TVs which all showed Felix was living beyond his means.
Investigators discovered Felix had claimed £86.35 a week in Income Support for almost a year and £57.45 a week in Jobseekers Allowance for eight months, not at the same time.
Felix was charged with possession with intent to supply class A drugs and six counts of money laundering.
He was found guilty at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Monday July 19 and jailed for five years.
DS Maggie Mcguinness, Hackney's Payback Unit, said: "This latest success for Hackney's Payback Unit demonstrates our commitment to going after drug dealers operating on the borough.
"Drug dealers cause much misery and make a lot of money from their crime and we are committed to making them pay for their crimes.
"We will pursue those profiting from crime and seek to strip away all available assets deemed to be the benefit of criminal conduct.
