Glass-fronted £100million building will see all departments under one roof
The borough’s much lauded civic centre hosted a topping out ceremony to celebrate the first step towards completion today (Friday).
Cllr Muhammed Butt, Brent Council leader, donned a hard hat during the ceremony which was also attended by Paul Chandler, executive vice-president of Skanska UK, the company overseeing the project.
The £100million building in Engineer’s Way, Wembley, which will replace the Grade II Listed Brent Town Hall in nearby Forty Lane, is expected to open its doors to the public next year.
