Water enthusiasts will be getting a duck’s eye view of the royal wedding from the River Thames.

Chelsea Kayak Club will paddle down the Thames on a special trip led by two Union Jack-clad sea kayaks aptly renamed Will and Kate before the ceremony takes place at Westminster Abbey.
The kayakers will leave their base at Cremorne Riverside an hour before the proceedings begin and will raft safely to the side of the river near to Westminster Bridge.
The group will have radio and live-streamed video on handhelds to catch all the action inside.
Chelsea Kayak Club is the only dedicated sea touring club in London and regularly kayaks along this stretch of the river.
Keen to show their patriotism, its members wanted to do something a little bit special and spent a morning transforming two boats into the national flag ready for the trip.
Katie Wade, social secretary of the club, said: “We were surprised how well the boats looked when we were finished and are really happy with the result - even if they do have that Austin Powers look about them!
“It’s not every day we get to be part of historic moments, it’s good to look back and know exactly where you were and what you were doing at the time and our royal wedding paddle will definitely make sure of that.”
