Police are appealing after a woman was left with “potentially life-changing” injuries by an assault in central London.
Scotland Yard said the 22-year-old woman may lose sight in one eye following the unprovoked attack on New Oxford Street outside the Centrepoint building.
The victim remains in hospital after being assaulted by three men, who ran off in the direction of Tottenham Court Road following the incident. All three men were black, police said.
The incident is believed to have taken place on Sunday September 1 around 3.30am.
Det Ch Insp Andrew Packer, from Camden CID, said: “This attack has left the victim with serious, long lasting injuries.
“If you were out in the area of New Oxford Street on the night of Saturday 31 August or you were on your way home at around 03.30hrs on the Sunday morning, do you remember seeing two women arguing with three men in New Oxford Street at the entrance of Bainbridge Street?”
