Reg Traviss, 35, is due to appear at Southwark Crown Court after he pleaded not guilty to two counts of rape alleged to have happened in the early hours of December 31 last year.

The woman alleges that she got drunk on a night out and the next thing she remembers is Traviss having sex with her.

Traviss, of Devonshire Street, Marylebone, central London, was Winehouse’s boyfriend when she died at her home in Camden, north London, in July 2011.

The film director’s trial is expected to last three days.

He was released on bail at a plea hearing in September.
