A man will appear in court today over a stabbing murder 12 years ago.

Kwayle Appiah, 36, is accused of killing father-of-two David Scott in north London.

Mr Scott, 30, of Warren Court, Tottenham, was found at about 3.15am on August 24, 1999 in Monument Way, Tottenham.

Appiah, of Denham Road, Barnet, will appear at Redbridge Magistrates’ Court.

It is alleged that Appiah stabbed Scott in an underpass beneath Monument Way, linking Fairbanks Road and High Cross.
