The trial of four men charged in connection with the murder of a Queen’s Park electrician is due to start today (Wednesday).

Daniel Smith died after he was shot outside KFC in Harrow Road, Paddington, in May 22, 2010.

The 22-year-old was an ex-pupil of Newman Catholic College, formerly known as Cardinal Hinsley School, in Harlesden Road, Harlesden.

Shane Lewis, of Fairlight Avenue, Harlesden, Kervin Kavuala, of Granville Road, South Kilburn, and Zeleke Ford from Watford, are charged with murder.

Jonathan Yeboah, 23, from Brent, is accused of attempting to procure a firearm.

The trial will take place at the Old Bailey and is expected to last several weeks.
