A man today denied killing his wife, who was four months pregnant when she disappeared seven years ago.
Robert Ekaireb, 38, pleaded not guilty at the Old Bailey to murdering Lihau Cao, 27.
Ekaireb, of Corrigan Close, Hendon, was remanded on conditional bail.
Mrs Ekaireb, who was also known as Li or Lisa, was last seen alive in October 2006 when she was four months pregnant.
She was reported missing in February 2007 when her family in China became increasingly worried about her.
There have been no reliable sightings of her since and her body has not been found.
Mrs Ekaireb left China in 2002 and worked as a waitress and dancer in Dublin until June 2006.
Ekaireb is due to face trial on June 24.
