A man accused of trying to kill two women who were attacked late at night has appeared in court.
The women were both approached from behind in the dark in Hounslow, west London, during a 10 day period in August, and slashed with a blade.
They were taken to hospital and required stitches to a wound across the neck in one case and slash across the face in the second.
Sasha Masamba, 20, of Nicholes Road, Hounslow, appeared at the Old Bailey today by video-link.
He pleaded not guilty to the attempted murder of Kaja Zablocka, 19, on August 7, and the attempted murder of Deserilyn Aurelio, 26, 10 days later.
Masamba, who was arrested at the local railway station by a patrolling policeman on August 21, was remanded in custody and will face a two-week trial on February 18.
