A man appeared at the Old Bailey today in connection with the killing of a fashion designer from Kilburn.

Achraf Jandara, 20, was remanded in custody after he was charged with the murder of Shaun Akanbi.

Mr Akanbi, 26, was found dead in his flat in Cedar Lodge in Exeter Road, on December 22. He died from multiple stab wounds.

Jandra, of Comber Grove, Camberwell, will re-appear for a plea and case management hearing on April 5.

Mr Akanbi, who was also known as Mashood Abiola, founded urban designer house Billy Boyce in 2009 while studying at the London College of Fashion.
