A company boss has been charged with ramming a bottle into a man’s neck at a party attended by pop star Jessie J, rapper Wretch and stars of hit T.V show The Only Way is Essex, hosted by phone giant Blackberry.
Ashley Charles, 25, was accused of attempted murder following the incident in which a 37-year-old married father of two was left in a critical condition, at Pulse nightclub in Southwark.
Doctors operated on his skull to avert a serious brain injury he suffered during the bloody brawl, on Tuesday evening.
Pricetag star Jessie J told of her shock at the attack on micro-blogging site Twitter.
Charles, from Leciester, was remanded in custody until April 20 at a hearing at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court.
