An Old Bailey jury is beginning to consider its verdict today in the trial of three teenage boys accused of murdering a school boy after he got off a bus in Welling.

Judge Stephen Kramer finished his summing up today and told the jury that 16-year-old Yemurai Kanyangarara had died from a single 9cm deep stab wound to the neck after he was stabbed in Upper Wickham Lane in Welling last July.

Three teenage boys, two aged 16 and one 15-year-old who live in London but cannot be named for legal reasons, deny murdering the Bexleyheath school boy on July 1 after he and a friend got off a bus in Welling.

The boys listened intently to the summing up today, at times two of them looking at the floor before the jury were sent out to start their deliberations.
