A Croydon woman has pleaded not guilty to an alleged racist rant on a tram, captured on video.

Emma West, 34, pleaded not guilty at Croydon Crown Court to two racially aggravated public order offences, one with intent to cause fear.

She was arrested in November following the publication on YouTube of an alleged incident on a tram from Croydon to Wimbledon.

West, of New Addington, Croydon, will stand trial on June 11. It is expected to last three days.
