One of the Greenpeace activists who climbed the Shard to protest against Arctic drilling will appear in court today charged with aggravated trespass.
Alison Garrigan, 27 from Greater Manchester, scaled western Europe’s tallest building with five other activists last month and unfurled a banner criticising oil giant Shell.
She will appear at Camberwell Magistrates Court this morning.
The other women who climbed the central London skyscraper have already accepted police cautions.
