Bethnal Green man charged with terrorism offences

A 26-year-old man from Bethnal Green has today been charged with possessing terrorist material following an investigation by the police.

Afsor Ali, of Scott Street, faces four counts of possessing documents or records containing information of a kind likely to be useful to a person committing or preparing an act of terrorism.

He has been bailed and is due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday, December 6.
