A Metropolitan Police detective will appear in court over allegations that two women were sexually touched while he was on duty, Scotland Yard said.
Clifford Earl, 56, is due at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on March 7 charged with three counts of sexual touching.
The officer, based in Southwark, came under investigation after complaints were made by members of the public.
An inquiry was carried out by Scotland Yard’s internal standards department.
He is currently suspended from duty.
